Exclusive hotel-as-muse fashion collection by local designer Bela Shehu
Kimpton Hotel Palomar Philadelphia has partnered with NINObrand, the coveted apparel brand from celebrated designer Bela Shehu, to unveil a new sophisticated, subtle-with-an-edge five-piece luxury collection, NINObrand x Hotel Palomar. The unisex, athleisure-style capsule collection will be available to shop and purchase exclusively through the hotel as a unique concierge amenity.
Shehu channeled the Palomar as her muse to create five exclusive apparel designs; a luxe t-shirt, transitional chambray long-sleeve-to-sleeveless shirt, casual lounge pant, technical skinny jogger and hooded jacket with magnetic closures. The palette of the collection mimics Shehu’s signature colors, with predominant blacks, greys and blues, and the modern silhouettes ring true to the designer’s in-store collections and the hotel’s subdued yet impactful aesthetic. The premium nature of the collection is underscored with a comfortable approach to the construction; each is made with technical fabrics to allow for minimal wrinkling, convenient packing and true ready-to-wear fashion. All items in the collection are easily paired with one another, offering a wide range of styling choices to be dressed up, down or accessorized based on the occasion.
Hotel guests are able to shop the collection at the Palomar from October 2016 through September 2017. Five percent of all sales from the collection will be donated to Career Wardrobe, a local nonprofit social enterprise that utilizes clothing and professional development to empower unemployed individuals to work. While NINObrand core collection prices average from $140-$800, to assist with the success of the collaboration’s charitable component, NINObrand offers the capsule collection at a reduced price range of $75-$550.
