Our nationally recognized bar program follows the same ethos, matching regional craft beers and an approachable wine list with imaginative cocktails that put a modern twist on the classics. For all these reasons and more, we'd be thrilled to host your private dining event for parties of 10 to 80 guests, with our talented Square 1682 culinary team leading the way. For your next Rittenhouse Square event, choose between two private dining rooms ideal for everything from birthday celebrations and book club meetings to corporate dinners consisting of 10 to 15 guests, or for larger functions like weddings, consider a buyout of our inviting restaurant, or take advantage of the hotel's spectacular, elevated ballroom plus flexible meeting spaces, which combined, can accommodate up to 80 guests.

Square 1682's Calder Room is perched above the entryway of the Kimpton Hotel Palomar Philadelphia. Accented with a wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling window, along with a stunning reclaimed wood table, this intimate space is sleek, unique, and exudes urban vibes. Seats up to eight guests.

Located on the second floor, the Pei Boardroom overlooks bustling 17th Street. With large windows, a striking chandelier, and a grand round table for up to twelve guests, any event in this heptagon-shaped room turns into an inviting yet elegant affair.

Tyng Room Social Set-up

The Tyng Room is the largest of our trio of our inviting private dining spaces with the ability to accommodate up to forty guests. Ample windows deliver natural light during the daytime and glistening city lights in the evening. Tyng features an upscale residential design, with sustainable cork ceilings, chic chandeliers, and posh soft-seating elements.

Square 1682, Philadelphia's first LEED-certified green eatery and bar, can be found inside the Art Deco-accented Architects Building in Rittenhouse Square; here our Chef brilliantly showcases sustainably sourced ingredients in delicious and innovative Modern American fare. The entire restaurant, including our sidewalk dining area, can accommodate up to sixty seated guests, and up to eighty guests with a reception set-up. Partial buyouts are also available.
